Platform fee

Our pricing is based on fairness to drivers. We only charge the drivers if the platform benefits them.

You keep your entire meter fare. Nagara charges only a small, fixed technology fee — and it is charged only after a ride is completed. There is no advance payment, no deposit, and nothing is ever deducted from your fare automatically.

A small fixed fee per completed ride — it does not change with the distance or fare of the ride. The same fee applies to app (online) rides and Meter rides.

VehicleFee per ride
Auto / Qute₹3
Cab / SUV₹10

You are not charged in these cases:

  • Short rides — any ride under 2.2 km or under 3 minutes is free.

App ride fees have a daily cap so charges never pile up, no matter how many rides you take. Limits reset every day.

VehicleDaily charge limit
Auto / Qute₹15
Cab / SUV₹50

Only the first completed meter ride of the day is charged. Every other meter ride that day is free.

  • Fees are never charged before or during a ride.
  • After your rides, the fees add up into a single pending total.
  • You pay this total later, whenever you like, through the payment link in the app (UPI or card).
  • Your ride earnings are yours — nothing is taken from them automatically.

You drive an Auto and take app rides all day:

  • Ride 1 (5 km): ₹3 fee
  • Ride 2 (8 km): ₹3 fee
  • Ride 3 (3 km): ₹3 fee
  • Ride 4 (10 km): ₹3 fee
  • Ride 5 (6 km): ₹3 fee → you have now reached the ₹15 daily charge limit for app rides
  • Rides 6, 7, 8 … : ₹0 for the rest of the day (app rides)
  • A short 1.5 km drop anytime: ₹0 (under 2.2 km)

Total app-ride fees for the day: ₹15 maximum, paid later — never in advance.

On the same day, if you also take meter rides:

  • First meter ride: ₹3 (Auto / Qute)
  • All other meter rides that day: ₹0

App-ride fees and meter-ride fees are counted separately — reaching the app-ride daily charge limit does not affect whether your meter rides are charged, and vice versa.
